How Would You Spec Your 2019 Corvette ZR1

The 2019 Corvette ZR1 goes on sale soon, which means Chevy's car configurator is now live. If you're a frequent reader of this website, you know that means we're playing around building our perfect ZR1s. And, of course, we're curious to see how you'd spec yours, but first, here's mine.

Chevy seems to have kept things pretty simple for options on the ZR1 - either that, or I've been spending too much time playing with Porsche's car configurator. The ZR1 is available as a coupe, starting at $120,000, or a convertible for $4000 more. There are only two trim levels too - there's base 1ZR, and the more luxurious 3ZR for $10,000 more.

I'd keep things simple, since this a track car, after all. That means a 1ZR Coupe, which conveniently, keeps the price down as well as the weight. For color, I'd go with Arctic White, which is a somewhat unusual choice, but I think it lets all the changes made for the ZR1 stand out. With the 1ZR package you only get one interior color option - black.

I added black-painted mirrors for an extra $100, as well as the Corvette Racing "Jake" logo painted on the hood for $500. Both cheesy, but they suit the car's personality. Black-painted wheels complete the package in my opinion.
