Actress Heather Locklear, 56, was arrested Sunday in Thousand Oaks, Calif. on suspicion of felony domestic violence, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office.
At approximately 10 p.m., deputies responded to the 4900 block of Summit View Drive regarding a domestic disturbance report, said sheriff's spokesman Capt. Garo Kuredjian.
Deputies contacted Locklear at which time she became uncooperative, Kuredjian said. He said that there was visible evidence that Locklear had battered her boyfriend, which makes the offense a felony.
Authorities did not release the name of the boyfriend who was involved in the call.
